This is really, really sweet. A little too sweet to be added to most chocolate, in my opinion. It's too sweet to be used in sandwiches, which is disappointing, as I have a family member with a peanut allergy.I did make some cupcakes, and used this as icing and filling, and they were very well-received. The texture is smooth and pleasant--almost whipped--and it does taste like pistachio. It does go well on ice cream (actually, my sister made some with her ice cream maker, and mixed this in as part of the last step. It worked really well). It seems to taste best with something bitter to offset the sweetness. It did arrive well-preserved. No leakage, no crushing, and the cream didn't melt or separate.
